Dr. Chad Capps

Dr. Chad Capps, who is deeply rooted in Texas, graduated from Crandall High School and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A&M University.
His orthodontic calling was realized at Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M Dental School), where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, followed by a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
Dr. Capps’ approach is shaped by his extensive experience in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, coupled with a profound understanding of orthodontic care’s impact on overall health, particularly airway improvement.
Both doctors have significantly contributed to their fields, with Dr. Woods actively involved in the Dallas County Dental Society and Dr. Capps continuously advancing his knowledge through various continuing education seminars and study clubs. Their combined expertise and dedication to orthodontics make Capps and Woods Orthodontics a premier choice for comprehensive orthodontic care in the region.

Dr. Woods, hailing from Kirbyville, TX, pursued his passion for dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning his Degree in Dentistry.
He further honed his skills as a Clinical Instructor and Associate Professor in Restorative Sciences at Baylor, where he was also recognized as “Teacher of the Year.”
His journey in orthodontics began with a return to Baylor for a specialization, leading to a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
